Popularizing the Classical.

Ever heard of Bond? They burst onto the scene in 2001 with their debut album Born, and were promptly accused of bastardizing the Classical. Since then, they've continued to bring their interpretation of the classics to the masses with the multi selling albums Shine and Classified. Their last release was a best of album, Explosive in 2005.
Anyhow, my favourite classical piece of all time is Johann Pachelbel's Canon in D Major. Its a favourite at weddings and funerals alike as well as the sample behind rapper Coolio's popular 1997 hit C U when you get there.
And below is Bond's Canon interpretation entitled Lullaby from the Classified (2004) album.
(Sorry no actual footage, just enjoy with your eyes closed)

The classical populist is a booming sub-genre;
we have (had as of April '07)
the X-factor generated G4 (right),
Vanessa Mae and Myleene Klass,
another reality TV alumna.

Each have had varied degrees of success, nevertheless bringing sexy back to the classical continues to remain an exciting aventure.
